Augmented Reality in Education
Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the newly merged technologies that may use in many fields such as medicine, robot simulation, entertainment, and the military (Antoun, Auda & Schneegass, 2018). AR also has the potential to be widely used in the field of education. Researchers have developed various educational tools such as children’s AR storybooks and AR mobile app used in learning environments (Antoun et al., 2018). AR used in education usually shows positive results including improve students’ performance, encourage students’ self-learning, and increases students’ feeling of satisfaction (Antoun et al., 2018). Antoun et al. have developed a web server application to embed AR content in digital lecture slides in higher education (Antoun et al., 2018). This tool made the lecture more interactive and interesting, and it also received positive responses from most of the students (Antoun et al., 2018). In general, the future of AR use in the field of education is very prospection.

Infographic, Poster, and Brochure
Such as augmented reality in education, Infographics, Posters, and Brochures are also used visual content primarily to teach learners about new knowledge. Through my learning in Uvic, there are many of our classes have asked us to create infographics as part of the assignment or project. I have taken a senior elective course called AE 330 (Visual Design for Marketing, Advocacy and Persuasion), one of the topics in that class is to create effective posters and infographics, which I find pretty helpful for my future learning. Below is the infographic I created regarding the pros and cons of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and paper-based health records.

Great work in Canva. I am glad when I see students using these assignments for something in their practice like you have done. You have a great infographic.
